Job Description:

Research Associate/Senior Research Associate in AI for DNA/RNA Nanotechnology

The successful candidate will work within the ICOS research group focusing on computational design, modeling, optimization, and AI applications in DNA/RNA nanotechnology systems. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing DNA/RNA Strand Displacement, Origami and Aptamer Multi-Scaled Systems
• Developing multi-scale models of DNA/RNA systems with target functionalities
• Optimization of multi-scale DNA/RNA systems to achieve target functionalities.
• Developing AI tools to support the above processes
• Collaborating with experimentalists to validate, debug, and improve software
• Contributing to scientific papers, oral presentations, and grant writing
• Establish and follow good software engineering practices
